Don’t miss Therapy Tails on Saturday, September 2nd! Therapy Tails Ontario visit the Thorold Public Library on the first Saturday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the children’s reading circle. Animal reading buddies foster basic social skills and confidence in young readers. The unconditional support of a canine companion allows for a safe and nonjudgmental environment in which children get excited about learning and grow their love of reading. Personally, we don’t even open our book. We just sit with it on our lap while we pet the dogs and say “oh my goodness, s/he is so cute!”. Like our good friend Max here. There is no cost to participate in this program. All ages welcome and there is no registration required.
