As a member of the province wide INFO (Information Network for Ontario) Network, the Thorold Public Library is able to obtain materials from the more than 170 public libraries in Ontario. Through this network, borrowers are able to request and borrow materials not owned by Thorold Public Library, but held by other Ontario public libraries. Requests for interlibrary loans may be made by phone or in person at the Information Desk.
A current and valid Thorold Public Library card is required to use the eight public computers and one express station at the main branch and the three public computers at the Port Robinson Branch. The following services are available:

Free access to a microfilm reader/printer is available at the main branch. A cost of $0.25 per page will be charged for printing.
Download audiobooks directly to your devices in the library at the OverDrive Download Station or remotely from any Internet connection through the library website using a valid library card number.
Free parking is available at the Vine Street entrance of the library.
Photocopying is available at the following costs:
A scanner is available for public use, at no cost.
Free access to word processing workstations is available at both branches. A cost of $0.25 per page will be charged for printing.

Thorold Public Library offers two AWE Early Literacy Station located in the children's department. The Early Literacy Station™ (ELS) is a groundbreaking educational tool for children ages 2 through 10 which provides a fun interface that encourages exploration. Complete with 50 education software titles, this station will grab any kids imagination!
Children can listen to books, songs and music on CD at the Kids Audio Station located in the Children's Department.
